Hozelock Prima XL 9000 Auto
This is an Auto model, it is the same as the
Hozelock Prima XL 15000 except that it
has a float switch that automatically switches the pump off when the pond water
drops below a certain level. To aid installation, the Prima XL can be placed
flat on the bottom of the pond or in an upright position.

These pumps have been designed to work in all conditions and can handle 10mm solids. This reduces the need for cleaning as most pond debris will just pass straight through the pump.
 Automatic pumps are fitted with a float switch that makes the pump turn off when the water drops below a predetermined level. This is a very useful feature if there is a leak somewhere in your pond system as the pump will turn off before emptying the pond entirely thus safeguarding your fish stocks and avoiding risk of damage to the pump. Each model is available in a choice of manual or automatic. Due to the design of these pumps they have the power to pump high volumes of contaminated water through the restrictions encountered in most filter systems. To aid installation they can either be placed flat on the bottom of the pond or in an upright position.
