The Maximus fountain pump comes with a wide range of
accessories which allow you to choose and rune
different fountains. A telescopic extension pipe
allows use in varying pond depths. The Maxiumus has
quite large slots in it's outer casing. These
prevent solids entering the impellor chamber and
causing damage to the pump whle at the same time
removing the need for a sponge which reduces pump
maintenance dramtically.
The Maximus has a long life, state of the art
ceramic shaft with high performance bearings that
enable the pump to run continuously in extreme
conditions all year round.

If you look at the model numbers above they refer to
the approximate maximum volume at 1 metre head ... this number can be used to compare
models quickly and approximately. This figure should no be used in any
specification. You need to know the height (called
head) and
volume flow of water you want to pump if you
have a waterfall.
